Buttons not Affecting Game

I am running Dolphin 5.0-6226 on a Samsung Galaxy S7. The only game I have tried is Mario Kart Wii. It loads fine and the cinematic will play, using OpenGL. I set up the button overlay for the Classic Controller, and I can see the buttons respond(the joysticks will move and the buttons will get darker when you press them), but nothing actually happens in game, so I can't get past the opening cinematic or "Press A to Start" screen. Wii Remote 1 is set to "Emulated" in the Wii Input screen. I have tried the other controller setups to no avail.

there are some games that do this, try another game, if the problem occurs again, it means there is a settings error.

ci sono alcuni giochi che fanno questo, prova un altro gioco, se il problema si ripresenta, significa che c'è un errore nelle impostazioni.

I tried Wii Sports and the same problem is still occurring.

I think the problem is that you have set the bluetooth joypad, not that tac,

Change controllers and restart then change back this should refresh the input

I can confirm the same issue occurs with Castlevania Judgement.

I have just been using the GameCube controller instead which works without issues.

i have wii input set to classic and it doesnt detect it in game im using an acer running chrome os and i tried to play cars toons wii game and i cant get past "press 1 to start''. btw i have no wii controller
