BurnOut 2 HD Textures Mod (Complete) also includes custom car/sky textures

Hi all I'm new here.

I have been working on a HD textures mod for Burnout 2 for over a year now, this mod also includes custom car textures and new colors for some along with some new skys and other surpirses.

I am pleased to announce that the mod is 100% complete and works with Dolphin 5.0 stable & 5.0-12716-x64.

Note: The police sign at the back of the car is black in the modded version, I have since fixed it.


The speedometers in those pics are old now, I went over some flaws that were present even in the SD version, the result is much more clearer.

I have also redone the thnumnail as the SD version did not include the writing "Custom Series" across the front windowscreen, now it does.

Theres more custom textures for the later unlockable cars but I won't spoil them here.

If you like the mod please leave a rating to show support, I plan on doing more custom car textures (I have hled a few back for now) depending on interest.

Hello. I already tried it out and it looks fantastic, thanks a lot, it is probably my favourite race game.
The only matter that I had is in the selection of the car, the fps drop very drastically and the GPU power goes up as well as the temperature.
I play in 1440p with a Ryzen 5 2600 and a RX 6600 XT but the fps dropping only happen when choosing the car

Make sure you have Prefetch Cusom Textures selected from the Advanced tab.

Also the fact you are running well beyond the native resolution will push your machine even further
and cause higher temps, remember (as far as I know) dolphin only uses two cores, try lowering
the resolution to 1080p.

Thanks for making this texture pack. I think Burnout 2 is arguably the better pure racing game than its successors.

Yes it's certainly one of my fav's and the GC's best car racing game for sure, I also highly recommend Burnout 3, those two are the best IMO.

I have re-uploaded to gofile for now, it's a temp place until I can find somewhere better that doesn't require an account to upload or download.

The file will be available for 10 days unless it's downloaded, in the meantime for anyone else that want's it and if I cannot get back on here leave me a message and I will re-up again.
