Buy the 4GB per stick or even 8GB per stick if you're worrying about dual vs tri channel...

You're confusing number of memory channels with number of dimm slots. He's worried about lower memory bandwidth from only being able to address 2 dimms simultaneously instead of 3. However I'de like to point out that although their are fewer memory channels the memory controllers are a bit faster so it should even out. It should be better than current LGA1366 cpus but don't expect miracles.

Rosewill is a garbage brand for PSU. Buy a corsair, coolermaster, ocz, or enermax (just to name a few) with a lower wattage. And make sure it's modular.

If you don't plan on going SLI/Xfire or covering your case with LEDs you can drop the PSU to about 600 watts.
Triple channel was wasted on single socket LGA1366 so don't worry about it. Sandy Bridge brings a ~10% IPC increase, reports of easy 4+GHZ OC and AVX. Microcenter might be having their usual B&M only CPU deals (2600K for $280) if you have one nearby but they took their ad down so unsure ATM.

HAF 932 is really HUGE , try 922 , just a best bang for the buck , motherboard is a bit of a waste of money too , you might wanna give a look at those tests bout the MSI p67gd65 , 4GB is fine (take some Gskill Ripjaws @2133 to maintain a good OC from you k CPU).

Cheers .

That's not a bad thing. I would sooner cut off my own arm then use a midtower case instead of a fulltower.

I hate MSI motherboards personally. But I do agree with you that his choice of mobo is a little over the top.

Wait wait wait. You told him his mobo is over the top then tell him to buy incredible overpriced ram that he doesn't need? K series cpus have an unlocked multiplier, they don't need high frequency memory to achieve a high OC.

I just took some measurements for the cooler master case, and by the looks of it I won't be able to fit it at my current setup area. I would be able to fit an antec 900 case, will the airflow still be great
