You forgot to update the power supply.

Edwii Wrote:Ah ok, as I said I'm still liking the short ones aesthetics over that one. Would you see any complications using that size of a case if i went with it any way?

Probably not. But then again as I mentioned earlier I have no experience with rackmount cases. Go for the 450 instead of the 430. The case is not something you want to cheap out on.

Edwii Wrote:Thank you for sharing your experince with the SSD's, I onlt have experince with my dated hardware, and never used an SSD before, I'm sure I will be impressed ether way with any SSD upgrade. I know that all the 840's come in all differnet sizes, but the price differince between a 256 and a 256pro is pretty big for my tastes.

Get the evo instead then.

Edwii Wrote:I use them equaly as much as my a/v system. I use them for everything, Movies/Games/Music anything audiable. I almost always pick the A/V over the headphones if I have the choice, the primary reason for the headphones is for when I dont want to disturb the house with what I'm doing, so staying up to late and playing media basicly.

I think I would go for a cheap $130 z87 board and grab a $90 audio card like the creative soundblaster Z or asus xonar dx instead of getting a $210 motherboard with good integrated audio.

You mentioned built-in wifi and bluetooth. Didn't you say that you were using wired LAN though earlier in the thread? Or am I mistaken?

If you can I would set aside some money for upgrading the graphics card in 3 years. $200 should be enough by then. Going 6 years without any upgrades is not a good idea no matter how good your initial hardware is.
