ok been reading about dolphin all over the place and i have been using it on my current pc which runs it fairly well, the thing is i have been thinking about making a media center pc for my living room for a while now and seen as i found dolphin i figure i might as well build ont that will run dolphin as well i want to try and keep this as cheap as i can under £500 or about $800
im thinking a dualcore intel processor overclocked to 4.3ghz e8400, im saying dual core because dolphin can only use 2 cores and i wont be using the computer for anything else whilst playing gc or wii games im going to use a 64bit copy of windows 7 and 8gb of ram im not totally sure about graphics cards but one that hopefully is not expensive and supports directx and opengl i know i can get one pretty cheaply that has hdmi out put this is important as the system will have a bluray odd i have left over from another build does this sound like it will be able to run dolphin close to full speed i have seen the videos of people running it on i7 cores and it looks great, do i need to use an i7 though seen as the emulator wont use the extra cores and seen as i can overclock a dualcore to higher speeds then the i7.
any advice appreciated
