Hello, just wanted to list a few bugs for the new Android 12. I'm using the same version of Dolphin that I was in Android 10. All the new versions of Android have introduced bugs, so I know its not Dolphin.

1) Android 12 may have changed the device name for speaker output. Headphones work with Dolphin emulator, but speaker is now completely broken in version 5.0-15554 of Dolphin. (What the bleep is wrong with Android?)

2) BetterWindWaker iso worked perfectly in Android version 10. It's broken in the new version 12.

I have a youtube channel where I show stuff about Linux Mint and Android operating systems and also games/emulators related to both. If I find a solution to these problems, I will post a fix here and also a video on my channel. Also, if anyone else already has a fix to either of these problems, PLEASE let me know! Android is my main system I use for Dolphin, but this is why I cannot give up using a PC as well.

----SOLUTION TO BOTH PROBLEMS READ BELOW----

First to the moderator, please leave this thread and delete the thread I made right after this if you can. This thread here covers both topics.

1) About Android 12 removing speaker support. Not sure if this problem is more samsung-related, but it sounds like quite a few people are having these issues. On Android 12, the sound is broken for the speaker on games only. The sound works perfectly on streaming apps but not games. But I have found a temporary workaround! Go into Settings > Sound and Vibration> Sound quality and effects> Dolby Atmos - Set this to Auto. For some reason this works on my phone, and I can now use the internal speaker as normal. Before making this change, I could only use headphones with Dolphin Emulator and a few other games. Now the sound works for both speaker and headphones!

2) Hmmmm... BetterWindWaker... I love it, but it kept giving me error messages on loading. Now I know why! For most other games, you can use the original Gamecube bios on Dolphin but not on BetterWindWaker. For BetterWindWaker, you want to make sure to NOT use the bios, so this is what you do. First save a configuration file for the game. (Change one option and back out and it will save a custom config. Then change it back.) After you make the configuration file, add this line:

SkipIPL = True

No more problems and now it works fine! (Just make sure to put SkipIPL = False in your main configuration file if you wish to use the bios normally.)
