Firs of all I wanna thank you for taking your time to read this.
I've been trying to set up my Lenovo Tab P11 (with keyboard, Android 11) for playing Mario Strikers with friends, and I was very pleasently surprised when I could use the detachable keyboard as inputs. Works great for singleplayer, but when I tried setting up inputs for different players, it didn't want to work.
I'll try to keep it short, but when I press on different emulated "controllers", instead of just moving, let's say player 1, player 2 started doing the same movements. If the right control stick button for player 1 is pressed, both player 1 and player 2 start moving right. All inputs seem to be mirrored across players (I tried enabling 4 emulated controllers, and it doesn't matter the input for which player I use, all the others players do the exact same thing). So for example if I set up WASD for player 1 movement, and the arrow keys for player 2 movement, pressing either will control both players. So both W and the upwards arrow key will move both players up, and not the individual player they were binded to move.
This makes local multiplayer impossible on keyboard, and I don't have any external controllers I can plug to play with friends.
Hopefully I was able to explain the bug properly, if not I will reply any questions that are submitted. I know it's a very specific bug for a (possibly) very specific device, but I really hope someone could fix it without running into major problems or consuming too much time. A huge thanks to all devs for making the port possible!
I'll be checking this thread for new updates and replies. Thanks!
P.S. I tested both the latest Play Store release 5.0-16101 and the latest development build and both presented this problem. Inputs mirrored on all 4 players when using the tablet's keyboard as controller.
