Play through the tower of gods with that versions, and then copy that save to your current memcard and play on in the newer Revisions.
The problem is that version is very old and the save not working in the new releases

Don't use quicksave function (you should never do that in WW), if you use Memcard it will always work like THELUKESTIR said.
