Hi,

At the end of the Dolphin front page, there is this paragraph:
Quote:Performance

Dolphin comes with default settings that may not be the best for you. You can get massive performance boost by just modifying a few settings. Gains of +20 FPS are not unusual. Just follow the performance guidelines.
The link towards "performance guidelines" is dead.

Instead of :
http://wiki.xxxxxxxxxxx.com/index.php?title=Performance_guide
It should be :
http://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Performance_guide

That's not our website, http://dolphin-emu.org/ is. The one you're looking at used to be official, but then the owner stopped replying to the devs' emails and now he just sits there and makes loadsamoney on ad revenue, so delroth said "To hell with him!" and built his own, much better-looking website.

Honestly, delroth's done a lot for Dolphin. A new website, a buildbot that notifies folks on the IRC if someone broke the build, new-ax-hle and numerous other things? We should be paying him, man.

Oh, sorry ! I only knew the old "official" website... I thought that you had a new domain name (dolphin-emu.org), and only began to migrate content to it (like the wiki or the forums). Anyway, really sorry for the false positive...

Indeed, the new website is much better ! Great work ! Smile

You can remove/rename/close/annihilate this thread... I feel a bit silly.

Migrating the wiki and forums was actually pretty easy since the devs had full access to those – they just copied the entire things, user accounts and old threads and everything. I forget if it was the devs or the old website owner who disabled the old wiki and forums, though.

Actually, the Devs only had partial control over the old forums, which is why the looks changed right after the migration. Either way, it wasn't MaMario who disabled the old wiki and forum, as who'd disable a website whose ad revenue is paid to them?

Mamario disabled forums+wiki because it's pointless to keep them up any further. He knows better than we do that he's not able to maintain a community when there's a much more advanced community about the same thing is being somewhere else.

He showed up occasionally on the old forums, and posted to about one or two threads. I think the last time was only about a month before the switchover.
