broken backend crashes on GameCube games but not Wii games

Dolphin crashes when using vulkan backend to play GameCube games. Dolphin works just fine when using vulkan backend to play Wii games. But it crashes when trying to play any gamecube game using Vulkan. The error I get is Failed to Submit command
line buffer. The crash happens on all gamecube games. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked to make sure your Intel iGPU is running the latest drivers?

Which games are you trying specifically?

My drivers are up-to-date. I have tried at least 30 or 40 games with the same result.

Can you get a screenshot of the error, and of your graphics settings?
Do you get this issue with any other backend like OpenGL or D3D12?

Just want to say that I've been experienced in this problem as well on the steam deck
