I think that model may be prone to more heat/noise issues, and the difference in price paid for my SSD. Since this PC will also serve as my living room HTPC, I opted for the i5 version because I was worried about noise and want to keep the build under 1K after I add a 2TB 9.5mm HDD.
Being able to play a few Wii games will be gravy. We moved the Wii to Grandma's house when we got the Wii U, but the Wii games still get played almost as often.
