I set up brawl minus on my pc and am trying to play it on Dolphin, the emulator. However, upon initially loading up the game, I immediately get this error message:
WriteRest: op out of range (0x145c3a55 uses 0xc0003140)
With a yes or no option. Clicking no crashes dolphin, clicking yes causes another error, similar to the last:
Writerest: op out of range (0x145c3a78 uses 0xc0003144)
Once again, no means crash, yes means another error, this time
Writerest: op out of range (0x145e5aef uses 0xc0003144)
After that one, a yes will let it load up till I attempt to get through the title screen where I get an error I can't pass:
BackPatch : Currently only supporting reads.
Attempted to write to 525342c5
After hitting ok, my only option, the rom freezes up, showing 0 fps, but 60 vps and 100% speed.
I'm using revision 7369 and I've tried all 3 cpu emulators. JIT and JITIL both have the same result, the interpreter runs at 1 fps from the beginning of the game, so I can't even get to the point of the error to see if it's there. With panic handlers off, instead of seeing the errors, I just get to the title, hit a button and the game freezes. MMU with and without speed hack make no difference.
Any help on this would be much appreciated. I would love to play brawl-, but my wii is pretty much fried and I don't have the money to replace it at the moment. x.x
