Umm... He's got a 970. That's definitely going to be happier with the OpenGL backend in basically every game that doesn't need EFB to RAM.

OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X
RAM: 16GB
GPU: Radeon Vega 56
