Both wiimotes link to only one player

As by title:i have 2 wiimotes, original nintendo, linked by dolphinbar mode 4. So long as dolphin, ver.5, is not started they pair up to their correct spot, 1 and 2. Once i start dolphin, sometimes when i start a game, they both pair up to 1 or 2 - though only one of them actually "works". Note well, i tried both wiimotes alone, and they both paired up and worked perfectly - this problem starts only when i try to use them both. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance anyway, guys.
