boot thru dvd on dolphin

can we boot on dolphin thru backup dvds,iso boots from hard disk,but dvd backup of same iso(which i burned with nero) doesn't run on dolphin,disc keeps reading, i know i am stupid newbie but please help

I've done it successfully, although the iso backups i used were burned with a program called Imgburn. I never use Nero, i've had problems with it. Keep in mind that the backups may have some lag at stressful loading times. I had some jittery loading when running strait from a DVD. I'd just use an ISO unless you are extremely low on hard drive space. Much faster to run them from the hard drive.

To your issue, it can take a long time for Dolphin to boot from the disk. I was left waiting upwards of 20 seconds or so before the game would boot. Give it some time. It shouldn't take more than a minute to load, but it will take much longer than it normally does via ISO.
