well, where did you purchase the game from?

I had the game but I gave it away to a cousin (it was PAL I think)..
So I downloaded a copy from the torrent which appears to be NTSC

Is this the problem? should I get a PAL?
The game runs partly OK, but the characters look like spiders with their long hands..

first of all, i dont see the game being slow, its going full speed! >_>
