I've been playing Mario kart Wii and on certain tracks like mushroom gorge, a large dark blurry box appears on the top left corner of the screen. Any one know how to fix? I'm using the latest version as of may 14 12:06 pm

It's been a long standing bug for a few years now. As I understand it, it's because of missing graphics feature in Qualcomm's Adreno GPUs. There's no solution for it currently. Hopefully, Qualcomm implements this feature in their future chipsets.
Edit: Thanks for the correction Josjoice. ![]() 05-16-2019, 01:50 AM

Hm... On the top of my head, it was dual source blending, but after looking it up it seems like it's actually Mario Kart: Double Dash's full-screen tint I was thinking of. I'm not sure if it's the same for Mario Kart Wii or a different one. Might be the same.
Logic ops iirc.
But this is Android so ???? ![]() I thought that dolphin official version also had it implemented. also resident evil code veronica need this (i think). 05-16-2019, 03:43 PM

But if the fork does fix the problem and the official builds don't, it's not against the forum rules. 05-16-2019, 11:11 PM

On another note, any plans to add Logic ops to master? master does have logic ops, it's just that it doesn't work on certain hardware/APIs. Notably, logic ops don't work properly on Windows 7 when using Direct3D 11. I'm not sure what the restrictions are when it comes to Android devices, but I guess weihuoya has implemented it in some different way that has lower requirements (and possibly lower accuracy? I haven't actually checked it out). 05-16-2019, 11:31 PM
"Use this fork, it's better/faster/stronger"
Against forum rules "Use this fork, it specifically solves this issue that master has" Fine |
