I am on a lenovo yogabook 720 laptop, and I am running into a bluetooth issue.
This is fairly recent and havent had issues in past until now.

When I use the option "Passthrough a bluetooth adapter" for my wiimote and launch a game, my laptops bluetooth disappears completely. Doesnt appear in taskbar or Device Manager. It's gone.

But when I close dolphin, it comes back.

Not sure how to use wiimote when it is doing this. I didnt have this issue 2 weeks ago.

I know for sure that it isnt a bad bluetooth driver or power management issues.
Just unsure what is wrong/if im doing anything wrong

That's how Bluetooth passthrough works. When Dolphin is using a Bluetooth adapter for Bluetooth passthrough, all other applications on the system will be unable to use it. If you don't want that to happen, either don't use Bluetooth passthrough or buy a second Bluetooth adapter (so that Dolphin can use one Bluetooth adapter and other applications can use another).

Also, that's the behavior with UsbDk, which has been dropped recently. On current development versions you have to permanently "dedicate" the BT Adapter to Dolphin by using Zadig. After doing that, your BT Adapter will appear in the "Universal Serial Bus Devices" category on Device Manager, deleting the driver here makes the BT Adapter visible again to the OS in case you want to revert the process...

Yes, is the best option. Dongles are really cheap. And dolphin works way better using passthrough.

I have one for dolphin, one for every other stuff and works great.

But when buying a dongle, do not get the ASUS BT-400... that is absolutely not supported by Dolphin passthrough.
Check my profile for up to date specs.
