@Mabel do your wii remotes stay synced after closing a game or do you have to resync them?

The PR 4385 build works wonderfully.I experienced pretty much the same thing with this adapter. Except only one controller seems to stay paired when launching a new game. I tested many multi player games. Only controller 1 remained synced when launching multiple games. Syncing multiple controllers can be tricky in some games. Donkey kong country returns requires me to go to the multi player screen then when it prompts me to connect player 2 only then will dolphins sync button work with controller 2. In mario kart wii i have to add a second controller by selecting 2 players, then add, and finally sync by pressing 1+2 simusimultaneously. Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 requires the sync button every time i try to add player 2. So figuring out how the game wants you to sync the controller is tricky with this adapter. One last thing, pressing the home button and disconnecting the controllers works but re syncing them with 1+2 fails (re syncing with dolphin sync button will fix it). Other than the pairing it works great! Range and audio are very good i wouldn't say audio is perfect though but extremely close. Sorry but i forgot to mention this is the asus BCM20702A0. 10-26-2016, 10:10 AM

(Note that since it's a OSD message, disabling panic handlers will not help.)No it is not an OSD message it was the panic handler window because it is gone now that i turned panic handle off. I will reproduce it and send a screenshot when i get home. Also read my experience with this adapter on page 7 as well. Two of them are for WiFi connectivity (one of them is dedicated to Wii U Gamepad communication and the other is for Internet Connectivity) and the remaining is the Bluetooth (the one with BCM20702 chip). However I have no idea if it's using USB or some proprietary protocol... Lol. Didnt knew compatibility list was already online 10-26-2016, 01:47 PM

Could you tell me if this is the adapter you have? https://www.gmyle.com/products/usb-class...AhGm8P8HAQ 10-26-2016, 02:08 PM

Could you tell me if this is the adapter you have? This is the model I have: http://plugable.com/products/usb-bt4le However, that's just the branding. The chipset on the inside is still the Broadcom BCM20702A0. From looking it up, your Asus BT400 has the same chipset, but the USB ID is 0b05::17cb. Could you confirm that's what you see in Zadig when selecting your device? USB ID 0b05 17cb? If so, your PID = 2821, and VID = 6091. Input that in your dolphin.ini.
My Azio BTD-V201 seems to be saving the link keys now that I look more into it, but none of my wii remotes seem to reconnect automatically. I have a skyward sword wii remote plus and 3 original wii remotes. I'm confused because the wiki page says it works. Is the wiki incorrect?

I can only get one contrcontroller to stay synced when starting up a new game. Edit: Sorry i was wrong. My Asus BT-400 (Broadcom BCM20702A0) USB ID is 0B05::17CF. I apologize i was one character off. I thought i had it memorized. The results on the wiki are mostly from user reports, plus anyone can also edit it. If your Azio BTD-V201 matches the VID, PID and revision from the wiki but still don't remember pairings, feel free to edit the result. If your Azio BTD-V201 actually has different hardware IDs than the one listed on the wiki, you can add another entry on the table too...

I apologize i was one character off. I thought i had it memorized. So this is actually the maximus vii formula wi-fi/bluetooth PCI combo card that came with the board. USB ID i provided is correct. The behavior i explained in earlier posts still stands. Everything works close to perfect except for remembering more than 1 controller for pairing. Yes this adapter was forced. [/color] |
