Hi all,
I managed to get my Wii Remote Plus connected via Bluetooth Passthrough and played some of games with it (e.g. Swordplay in Wii Sports Resort). All I did to Sync it was select Passthrough a Bluetooth adapter, start a game, press a button on the Wiimote and press the Sync button in Controller Settings.
I came back a while later to play some more, but I cannot get Dolphin to Sync with the Wii Remote Plus again. I still get the "Scanning for Wii Remotes" message, but the 4 LEDs on the Wiimote just keep flashing for 20 seconds and then stop.
Here's the process I'm following:
I have tried:
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 7500U 2.7 GHz
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 1080
OS: Windows 10 Professional x64 1903
BT: Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Bluetooth 4.1 (Rivet Networks Killer Wireless-AC 1535)
Wiimote: RVL-036 (Not sure what is shows as in Windows as I haven't been able to pair it)
Dolphin: 5.0-10960
As you can imagine this is really frustrating as it worked so easily the first time (and it worked so well in game). I just can't figure out what happened / changed to stop it working again.
I'd appreciate any help you can offer to get this working again. Let me know if you need any more information. Thanks!

Here's the process I'm following:
- Use the Zadig app to install libusbK (v3.0.7.0) (I have also tried WinUSB (v6.1.7600.16385)).
- In Dolphin, select Passthrough a Bluetooth adapter in Controller Settings.
- Start a game.
- Press the red Sync button on the Wiimote (4 LEDs start to flash), then press Sync in Controller Settings. Also tried pressing the buttons the other way around.
- See the Scanning for Wii Remotes message in the game window.
- The 4 LEDs just keep flashing. Wiimote doesn't vibrate and switch to 1 LED as it did before. Eventually it stops flashing.
I have tried:
- Pressing the Reset button in Controller Settings.
- Holding down the red Sync button on the Wiimote for 10+ seconds.
- Older versions of Dolphin or 5.0-10960 in a different folder (each time using the portable.txt trick so a local user directory is used).
- Pairing using normal Windows drivers via both Settings and Control Panel - it looks like the Wiimote is recognised as Input or Game Controller, but I cannot get it to pair.
- Tested the Wiimote with my Wii - it syncs/pairs fine.
- Experimenting with different games and settings in Dolphin (different graphics backends, VSync & Fullscreen on/off, Continuous Scanning & Background input on/off...)
