Hi guys,
My Wiimote has just arrived and I'm trying to connect it for the first time... I went with the passthrough option with zagdig, but now my system doesn't recognise my bluetooth adaptor, so I can't use my mouse, keyboard, headphones, PS4 controller etc... Is this normal?
What do I need to do to restore functionality, do I need to reinstall drivers every time I want to use the Wiimote?

Maybe I should go with the Toshiba stack option? That will let me use bluetooth normally, right?

Thanks!

On Windows 10 you can use normal emulated mode. Only if your wiimotes are genuine. No need for Toshiba.

With BT passthrough you cant use the bluetooth fot other stuff. You can buy another one for that purpose. If you want to return functionality, just uninstall driver from system devices.

If yours is not official, I guess you could try Toshiba. Never used toshiba on w10.

Thank you! It all works out of the box Smile I immediately went through the guide, but none of it was necessary lol

One more thing on this: if you already have genuine wii remotes, you could do a minimal effort attempt to run in BT passthrough by simply installing libusbk with Zadig per instructions in wiki. That would give you a feel for how well your adapter would work in passthrough mode. If you are happy with it, you can buy a second cheap BT for other uses. If you don't like what you see, you can easily uninstall libusbk with Zadig.

Yes, that Will be the best option.

But if you have wiiimotes of the TR variant, normal mode Works pretty fine.

On older wiimotes, non TR variant, on normal mode wiimote speaker sound support is broken.

You can read about the benefits of BT passthrough here, but trihy is right, for casual use, going the emulated BT adapter route is good enough.
