Hey Guys,

This isn't really a Dolphin related question but I thought that, maybe, you could be of help.
I'm trying to pair my wiimote plus with a Macbook Pro, late 2011 Model.
It does connect but disconnects shortly after, leaving the device in a 'disconnected' state.
I also tried removing the device, just using Dolphin for the pairing, but the issue seems to be the same.
I don't get a usable connection, even though Dolphin mentions 1 connected Wiimote.
Upon booting a Game however, it hangs at 'connecting...'

I already did a fair amount of googleing on this and I figured that, maybe, you could shed some light on this.
As I said, I'm using a wiimote plus, Macbook Pro late 2011 with Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and onboard bluetooth.

Thanks in advance.Smile

OS X 10.8.X brokes support for real wiimotes. There is a fix available though, just use the forum search to find this fix.

Are you perhaps talking about the Patched Dolphin executable?
I already tried it, didn't work either. :/
Should the wiimote stay connected if I use the normal osx pairing?
Because after 30 or so seconds it simply disconnects again.

Actually, there are TWO solutions. The patched Dolphin binary and a kind of workaround.

btw: Try to check "Alternate WiiMote Timing" (right click on your game -> properties)

Will do and report back.
Thanks for trying to help. Smile

Edit:

Dolphin 3.0 -807 with alternate Timing -> Freeze upon launch (grey screen, clearing code cache)
Patched Dolphin 3.0 -749 with alternate Timing -> Game launches but Wiimote doesn't work (all 4 leds blink, dolphin stays at 'connecting')

Edit 2:

Got it working. Big GrinD
For everyone reading this;
You have to push the red sync button, THEN open up dolphin (doesn't have to be the patched build) and go straight to the wiimote menu.
Now seriously, how do people to come up with a solution like that?
But anyway, thanks a bunch. Smile

@Attica : thank you so much ! your sync button solution just worked fine here as well (for a wiimote MotionPlus on os x 10.7.5)
