I am on macOS, Dolphin 5.0-15445. I have a Sony DualShock 4 bluetooth controller, which the OS connects and passes to Dolphin no problem. The problem is if the controller is disconnected whilst Dolphin is running. This could be a timeout upon non-usage or user turning off the controller to save battery life. When its turned back on, Dolphin does not pick it up again and has to be quit and restarted to do so. Other emulators, such as OpenEmu, which also runs on macOS, have a background loop running that is constantly scanning for the controller; if when using it the DS 4 controller turns off and then back on again, OpenEmu reconnects it automatically and gaming can continue where we left off. How about implementing the same in Dolphin? Would it be difficult?
