BlueSoleil support - what happened?

Hello,

I'm using what I believe to be a Nintendo Wiimote (ie, not 3rd-party). Bluesoleil recognizes and connects with no issues, but the Windows 7 (64-bit) Bluetooth stack won't connect stably. Using Dolphin 3.0, I connect and sync up with no issues, but using recent versions, I get a message saying "A supported Bluetooth device was not found (only Microsoft Bluetooth stack is supported)".

My question is, why do current Dolphin releases only support the MS stack? I understand that a lot of people have issues with Bluesoleil, but if it works with Wiimotes and the MS stack doesn't (at least for some people), why remove support for it?

I apologize if I'm misunderstanding the situation, or if I've posted this in the wrong forum. I've searched the Controllers forum several times, and I see a lot of questions from people who seem to be in the same situation as me, but not a lot of useful answers.

just connect the wiimote via bluesolei and just press refresh in dolphin...
the connect button in dolphin is just for a "quickway" of connecting the wiimote to dolphin with ms stack

Well I'll be damned.. I don't know how I missed that all this time. It seemed to have a hard time finding the IR sensor compared to the 3.0 that I've been using, but it definitely connected and worked with the controller. Not sure what my problem was.. thanks!
