Now, before I explain I want to clear something up, I had this issue on the stable 5.0 version, as well as the version I'm currently using (5.0-8486), so I think it's a hardware problem. However, I've tried for what almost feels like an hour now to update my windows and everything, and no matter what I do, I can't update it. It comes up with error 80073712 ("WindowsUpdate_80073712" "WindowsUpdate_dt000") and I can't fix it. I hope there are some helpful people who can help me troubleshoot this problem because I can't for the life of me.

So this problem occurs when I launch dolphin, I haven't tested it specifically, but I'm sure it happens even if I merely open it. My computer bluescreens shortly after, even while I'm playing, for seemingly no reason, and I don't know what to say. at first, I thought it was my Bluetooth, but that wasn't the problem. I reinstalled the drivers and nothing changed, and even if I didn't play with a wii remote it still bluescreened, so I don't know what to do.

You probably want to use SFC to get windows to check it's system files for corruption

Info here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026529/windows-10-using-system-file-checker

Though that may not be sufficient, or even able to fix errors even if it finds them - the gold standard would be to reinstall windows.

I think windows allows you to re-install without wiping your documents, but sometimes it can screw up (as there's lots of state that not 'your documents' that could still cause problems) - Make sure you keep any data you want to keep somewhere like an external disk first if you do a fresh reinstall.

It may be a hw problem (e.g. bad ram or disk that's dying and losing data), especially if it reoccurs after reinstalling windows. Otherwise corruption can be cause by software bugs, doing stuff like force resetting the pc or if it crashes and stuff like that. So it's not definitely a hw problem.

You should also take note of the info the BSOD that shows up. Really helps narrow down what could be messed up.
