Blank Screen in Twilight Princess?

Been playing GC Twilight Princess for a while, no problems.
Played all day today until I shut down for work.
Came home to load it up again and the game doesn't start up. I get black screen with the yellow text at the top left like usual, but I don't get past the black screen.
Only thing that seems out of the ordinary is my Speed jumps to 10,000% and my VPS is in the 6,000's. I've tried everything and searching google hasn't helped me at all....

Can anyone help me out here?

Have you tried enabling Framelimit in the config? and post screenshots of your settings

Yeah, I do, I think the problem is limit by FPS, which is lame because I use that to get a huge speed boost from it. Otherwise I get like 18fps from twilight princess

Disable external frame buffer and try the D3D9 Video backend

well, I can't switch to D3D9 cuz I'm on mac, but turning external frame buffer seemed to do the trick
