alternatively, you can try to use any of the "Hacks" in the bottom of the OpenGL's advanced page, some hacks made for some games work with other games

have you tried messing with the graphics settings under the hacks section in the Gfx area? some games need those while others don't like them. gotta jsut figure out which ones work and such. if thats not it then i dunno
