Sad
Hey, new here Big Grin

I'm having an issue with the OpenGL renderer in the currently latest 5.0. I get a black screen and a freeze on launch. I know other's have posted this same question, but they ended with something like "delete shadercache" which did not help me.

Yes, I have at least 2gb ram (8gb)
I also have an SSD so things should run "faster"
My Integrated Graphics support OpenGL 4.0, so that shouldn't be an issue
Yes, I do have VSRedist 2017 x64 on a Windows 10 x64 machine

What could be causing this issue?  Huh

Also, a certain 4.0 version used to work fine for me (around 45 fps), but I cannot find it now. I've tried the latest 4.0 and 4.0.2, but neither solve the issue.

The question here is why are you even attempting to use GL with an Intel GPU. You´re better off with D3D.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

I'm trying to use OpenGL because somewhere around Dolphin 4.0 I used to get around 45fps. D3D does work, but I only get 28FPS so... that's no good

Well, your CPU is *heavily* underpowered, and Dolphin has gotten a lot more accurate to fix bugs that used to happen in 4.0 (and 5.0 itself).

Latest dev builds are the best option if you want both accuracy and speed because of how frequently they´re update. If your PC can´t handle that, you´re out of luck.

But it's so strange that I used to get 45fps on a backend that no longer works for me...
