Black Screen on Punch Out

I just starting trying out Dolphin (3.0-204) and smash bros brawl runs fine. However i just got punch-out and im left with a black screen. I tried looking for older topics about the game but all the advice is for the older versions of dolphin so it doesnt translate well when i try to utilize the advice.
