Beta 5.0-13178 introduced a new problem that I’ve now tested on two different systems - specifically significant input lag most noticeable in Wii Sports golf. The swing motion is very slow, so slow that it inhibits normal play. Deleting system files and separate, clean installs do not solve the issue. Haven’t tested far enough to see what other games suffer from similar issues, could be only Wii Sports golf. Reverting to beta 12716 fixes the issue. Reproduced the problem (and solution) on two separate systems (one Nvidia, one AMD). No specific ask from me - just wanted to make mention to see if others shared this issue and so the dedicated Dolphin team can consider it for a fix in future revisions. Appreciate the efforts of everyone contributing to this great software, thank you!

Does enabling speaker data for the Wii Remote solve the issue?

I have only tested the beta releases - will effort to test daily builds to see when this issue arose and will repost here if I find the culprit.

And the answer to the speaker data question is yes - enabling speaker data to the wiimote does solve the issue! The speaker output on the wiimote remains largely garbled, but the lag appears completely resolved. How in the world did you figure that out so fast?

Because you're not the first person to have had issues with this recently, and at least one person has tracked the problem back to a change that affected what Dolphin does when speaker data is off.

Understood - Not surprised the community is on top of it, apologize for the duplicate issue submission. Thank you you and the other devs for your hard work!
