its more then that. you can't use magnesis on a crate under a crate, that also cancels it like if you were standing on it. however, apparently the cart doesn't care.
and imo its good that you can't move an object you are on directly, thats just wrong on many levels. this is just a bit harder to set up and alot harder to control. let alone afaik you can't push the card forward or it starts sliding away from under the box.

I liked its ability to adjust its position on ceilings, really added a lot of depth to it when the double clawshots were obtained.
