I liked Wind Waker.

WWHD was nice because it streamlined the stupid triforce hunt

Basically every Zelda game is great. Except for Skyward Sword... How I loath thee and thy motion controls. Not to start on the most annoying sidekick character ever presented in a video game and the constant reminders. Ohh... And I did not even start talking about the fetch quests, re-hased bosses, shields that permantely break after spending so many resources on them and dowsing sequences.

Indeed, Wind Waker HD is a major improvement. The shortend Tri-Force hunt, the Swift Sail, quicker use of the Wind Waker, less waiting for the wind direction, grappling hook and text scrolling, Hero Mode, bigger wallets. Well I can go on for a while. Twilight Princess HD sadly does not offer as many improvements as Wind Waker HD did, but it is still great. I still prefer the console versions of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask above the 3DS versions.

I should also mention that A Link Between Worlds proved that the series could indeed refresh. Going to any dungeon in any order you want? YEAH! It proved for sure that the Ocarina formula could be changed, which stuck with the series for way too long. Don't get me wrong, Ocarina of Time was my favorite game of all time... Before Breath of the Wild showed up. I am all for refreshments in the Zelda formula. Now they should only improve upon the Weapon/Shield/Bow duration system (perhaps don't permanently break the item, but allow for repairing) and include the traditional style dungeons again. The divine beasts and shrines were a nice break from the traditional dungeoneering, but still, nothing beats a old-school-fashioned dungeon.

Yeah... But I still run at least once a year Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask through Dolphin, just because I get to use the HD Texture Pack, 4K resolution, nifty AR/Gecko codes and other Dolphin improvement above the console. I only run the Master Quest version of Ocarina of Time these days. The normal quest is a bit too easy.

I spent way too much of my money on buying Zelda games. It is completely worth it. No gaming franchise even gets close that what the Zelda series offers. Ohh, I still remember the days I played Link's Awakening over and over and over and over. Best Gameboy game period. The Oracle games were great too, but not as great as Link's Awakening. It even got better with the DX re-release for the Gameboy Color, because having your game in color.

While Majora's Mask is not the best entry there is in the series (it is still a high-ranking epic game) it did one thing well no other game managed to reproduce: the three day time limit. It is all about the journey itself. The goal itself was not particular wonderful. When I did arrive at the moon for the first time it turned out to be a bit... well... peaceful, green and silent. Not what I expected when the world was about fall into destruction, ruin and chaos. Even the fight with Majora itself, how did I even get there? But nothing beats the urge to save the world within three days. Ganon in Breath of the Wild turned out not be big that much of an impeding doom. I mean, every person just goes about his daily ways and Link is way to busy on his treasure hunt. Zelda seems to be doing just fine on her own.

Majora's Mask is definitely the best. I still think they haven't managed to top it to this day.

It is just a shame that Majora's Mask only has four dungeons...

I still prefer OoT to MM. *shrugs*

My favorite is Zelda II, specifically on Famicom. The NES one is annoying to play because it lags on the overworld, and they increased the difficulty for some reason.

Of the four that I've played I like MM the best (till I play BotW anyway).

I have to say, not that it's a bad game, but I still prefer MM to BotW even after playing it. I had trouble getting into BotW; everyone likes it because it has a huge world and you can explore all over the place, but for me all that means is doing tons of really slow wandering and getting lost all the time not knowing where things are.
