Best way to transfer game save files from old pc to new pc

I had a old pc with progress of some wii and gamecube games. I think I used a older version of dolphin from like 6 months ago and created savestates for all my games. I went to my new pc and downloaded a dolphin version from 3 months ago. I can't find my .sav file anywhere when i opened import wii save. Does anyone know a good way to backup your game data from your old pc to your current one?
