Actually I just tried the game and all I get is a black screen, no graphics or audio to speak off. Sad

Have Googled and found some advice :

https://www.reddit.com/r/DolphinEmulator/comments/3ofxpx/black_screen_dolphin_doesnt_work_anymore/

but it all seems to be for Dolphin 4. May also be an issue with my graphics card.

Sorry for the repeated posts. Just a bit antsy since I've been wanting to play Xenoblade for some time.

Alright, nvidia optimus might be screwing you here.

Lets try the following.

1. close Dolphin. Go to C:\Users\(your user)\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\config\

1a. Delete Dolphin.ini and GFX.ini

That will reset all of your settings except controller settings to default.

2. Download and install the latest nvidia drivers from here

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

3. Reboot your laptop

4. Download and install the latest Intel GPU drivers from here

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25620/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40-6th-Gen-?product=88345

5. Reboot your laptop

6. Right click on the desktop -> NVIDIA Control Panel -> Manage 3D Settings -> Program Settings

6a. Make a profile for Dolphin.exe (Click Add)

6b. In your specific Dolphin.exe profile, make sure that the selected GPU to run Dolphin on is the NVIDIA GPU (Should be in a little dropdown)

6c. In the list of settings, find "Power Management Mode", set it to "Prefer Maximum Performance"

7. Open Dolphin, load your game ISO folder if you need to. Don't change any other settings.

8. Launch Xenoblade

Does it work? If yes, you can then go to Graphics > Enhancements in Dolphin and turn up your Internal resolution to make it HD. (3x for 1080p)
