What's up everybody!

I'm looking into buying a new portable (ish) android device that I can put all my favorite emulators on.

What android would play dolphin at the fastest speeds with the least graphic defects? I've heard good things about the Nexus 9 tablet, and also the Nvidia shield (which I saw has a pretty slow clock speed though).

What should I be looking for for better performance, clock speed? ram? # of cores? or something else?

Thanks!
Gio

Shield won't run the newest versions afaik, I think the nexux 9 would probably be the best portable thing you could get.

Wait for the Shield Portable 2 which will probably have an upgraded Denver X1. It might release next year, since NVIDIA has been strongly hinting it.

Looks like I might have to. Looks like they discontinued the shield too.

What do you think of nvidia's shield tablet k1 for dolphin?

32 bit OS. Won't run anything other than the play store version which won't run any games acceptably.

There is no current mobile device that will run Dolphin as of right now. That will likely change with the Pixel C tablet, if nvidia ever announces a Shield Portable 2, or maybe a Snapdragon 820 device. That is, if it doesn't thermally throttle in 10 seconds and properly supports GLES 3.2

Everyones has gt their own opinion on what is best to run it. For me ive gt a nexus 9 with an ipega 9023 extenable controller.im happy with tht, and it has a 64 chipset so it plays the new builds
