Hi all.

Im having a hard time figuring out a good placement keyboard setup for playing zelda wind waker. Could someone who uses a keyboard to play gamecube games on the dolphin be kind enough to share there setup. I want to use keyboard and mouse, the mouse to use to look around.

Pics of ur keyboard setup appreciated.

What i find hard is too many controls and the mouse look controls arnt the best i have atm setup wise. I usually use the wasd keys for movement and mouse to look around like in pc games but the rest im having trouble placing on the keyboard for easy access when playing.

I mapped the mouse to the C-stick, and since I have a 5 buttons mouse I have:
Left Click - B
Right Click - Z
Middle Click - Y
Mouse 4 - X
Mouse 5 - Start
Space Bar - A

It could probably do with some refining, like moving the XYZ buttons around but I haven't played it enough yet to determine where they would go best.

Well i would suggest just buying a usb controller lol.
I guess Arszi set up could work for the keyboard.

But i have a dual action logitech (costs like $15-25), and it works wonders for all emulation.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007759&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&ActiveSearchResult=True&CompareItemList=123|26-127-204^26-127-204-S01%2C26-104-402^26-104-402-03%23

the one i have is like inbetween both of them, like its similar to the $25 one, but has no colored buttons and doesnt have triggers, just normal buttons for L2/R2

I guess triggers would be helpful for gamecube, but i just use the analog option and set basically 50% L/R as buttons(needed for like mario sunshine) and 100% L/R buttons as other ones.
