There is no solution for this right now. The reason why it is slow is because "Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes" is a TLBHack game.

Here are your options:

1. Use the JIT recompiler instead of JITIL, but I think this option makes MGS:TS hang at the Konami screen.
2. Use the JITIL experimental recompiler on the 64 bit version of Windows and Dolphin 64 bit version.
3. Buy a faster PC
4. Wait for the devs to fix the slowdown. Hope this will not take too much longer. Be patient.

There is also an analog control issue with this game, so even if the game runs at an acceptable speed, it will not be playable.

finally someone wrote an answer Shy thanks for your answer skid i tried recomplier but it makes game slower than normal. i am still trying combinations at settings screen. at last i am getting something at the Dolphin Rev 4788. (i tried almost 20 different ver. Big Grin ) now my fps is 28~ . so it is possible to improve my performance with right combination of settings. but there is a big problem now. when someone calls me game freezes. do you know a solution for it?
by the way if you mean the problem with analog control snake walks down when you press up, use dpad instead of arrow keys. sorry for bad english Smile

Hey I have the exact same settings for my Dolphin rev. 4771 and the game runs at a decent 20 to 30 fps (I have a max 30 fps limit set). However, this is just during the intro scenes of the game as my game just stalls at the first call I get after I get out of the water. All I hear is the constant ringing of the phone and the green radio/computer screen

Yes, same here - using Dolphin SVN R 4771 & NVidia GEForce 9500GT. First codec call & I have the same problem. Can anyone advise on this?

Actually, using R4771 I have Resident Evil 1 (REmake) running perfectly but still have the static, crackling sound on RE 0 and Twin Snakes, was this ever resolved? Is there a better revision or setting to improve the sound? the RE 0 hack seems to do nothing, any assistance gratefully received!
