Hi Guys,

I'm wondering what is the best controller to use for Dolphin on OSX?

I'm not too bothered about a WiiMote setup since i'll mainly be using GC games or games that dont require motion controls as i've never really been a fan of it.

I like the classic gamecube controller for wii but not sure how it connects and works within OSX?

If thats not possible i do have a PS3 controller laying around, is it possible to use this on dolphin? i've not found an answer as of yet? I can see how to connect it with Bluetooth, does it need anything else to work with Dolphin?

Failing that, what is the best setup for OSX? I'm open to suggestions.. Many thanks.

Yes, you can use a ps3 controller on dolphin, but you'll need some drivers that I never remember Rolleyes

I think may flash works on macs ( not 100% on that ) Also any many GC to USB adapters will work but run you $25 plus.

The PS3 controller's fine. For some silly reason, OS X has had PS3 controller drivers built-in since Snow Leopard, so you don't even need any drivers for that. Just plug it in via a Mini-USB cable, connect it via Bluetooth, and, uh... finagle it until it works when you unplug it. (I don't remember how to do it at the moment; it's a bit finicky, IIRC.)

Other fine choices include the Wii Classic Controller (Pro or not) and the Wii U Pro Controller, both connected via WJoy. https://code.google.com/p/wjoy/ The WUPC will require some finagling to get the sticks working properly, but I'll skip that explanation if you're just using the PS3pad.
