Hey i've tried today like 3 hours to set up my really crappy gamepad some kind of crap no-name one.

And i couldn't get any buttons to work even if they respond in settings window they didn't worked in-game ... so i decide to buy new one.

So my question is what's the best controller ?
Original GC controller or maybe some other unnoficial controllers ?

What's the easies to configure and use.

I'm using Dolphin with newest build for 64bit systems and i'm using windows 7.

PS. Or maybe there is a way to make my gamepad to work propelly but maybe i'm missing something ?

Thanks !

Connecting the pad by USB. I think you can assign the buttons of GC controller to an unofficial controller but the easiest would be the GC controller because every button you can assign it as if you would be playing in a real GC.

I recommend xbox360 Pad for PC. I played hours and hours with them and is strong, fast and ergonomic.
And you can plays many titles on PC too Tongue

i agree it is best to get an official gc controller with a usb adapter.

Checkout my latest project ( it is a program that downloads and compiles dolphin on mac and linux now): http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu-downloader (It's unofficial and maintained by me, not the dolphin dev team)
