I have been a long time follower of this emulator but I only just registered due to having my first issue. I have had no problems with any of the previous releases of the emulator, but I am having some issues with the version "Dolphin-win-x64-r7639" for some reason. I have noticed that there are many changes and I am in need of idiot help. Here is my system specs:
Dolphin Version: Dolphin-win-x64-r7639
System:
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601)
Processor: Intel® Core i7 CPU 960 @3.20GHz (8CPUs), 3.2GHz
Memory: 12288MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Display:
Name: NVIDIA GeForce GT 440
DAC Type: Integrated RAMDAC
Approx. Total Memory: 4063 MB
Current Display Mode: 1920x1080 (32 bit) (60Hz)
DirectDraw Acceleration: Enabled
Direct3D Acceleration: Enabled
AGP Texture Acceleration: Enabled
HardDrives:
HDD1: 1.80 TB (over 60% is unused)
HDD2: 1.36 TB (over 20% is unused)
I am not sure if this is the info that is needed to get an answer to my question and if anyone needs any additional info, just let me know and I will get it.
My question is what settings should I put Dolphin on to maximize is potential without the slowdown?
I have never had any slowdown until I used version "Dolphin-win-x64-r7639." I could of course go back to an older version that works perfectly and run my games at full speed in HD, but I would like to take advantage of all the hard work that has been put into the most recent release. I have changed a lot of options around but for some reason I am getting a "SLOW" game. The games I have tested with is:
New Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2
(I am a big mario fan, lol)
All of my Gamecube games work perfectly in HD. Any suggestions on what I should put my settings on for my Wii games to work perfectly in the highest resolution my PC will allow without "slowdown"....?
Thanks and I hope this is not too dumb of a question...
