So I'm looking for an android device that is only meant to play my classic games on emulators, the emulator I'm by far most worried about is dolphin. I'm wondering what the best processors would be to use for this little project, I keep reading that snapdragon CPU's are awful for dolphin so I'm wondering what are the alternatives? I'm hoping for something more budget friendly, so any advice is appreciated, the cheaper the better.
best android for emulation?

No, Snapdragons are generally the best chipsets for Dolphin when it comes to Android devices. You should get the best Snapdragon chip you can get, but at least a Snapdragon 845.

You know what's funny? For a few years(2013 - 2015) Snapdragon chipsets were pretty bad with dolphin. Those old Qualcomm video drivers were horrific, producing nightmare fuel graphical bugs. It's amazing how things change.

I guess thats where I got the misinformation from Simply outdated!
Well that's fine, I'll see if I can find somewhere a defective SD 845 broken phone and make my own console out of it =D Thanks! 03-29-2020, 02:14 PM
