Best android box for dolphin?

So i have been testing emulators on TV with steamlink, and my conclusion was the its a bad solution. So what I'm trying to do instead is that buy a gamebox with android and then download the android version of dolphin so I can play my GC games on my TV. My question is, which is the best? I have seen people using nvidia shield and amazon fire tv but I also note that there are plenty of choices. Also, how well does the android version of dolphin work?
