I have been searching all over the internet for months looking for a laptop that can emulate dolphin at its best possible quality for 1000$ Sad I know how expensive gaming laptops are so try to stay at 1000$. I am not looking for a desktop or a Wii console because I NEED the portability Undecided . No matter what risk I have to take, whether the laptop overheats or has some type of defect it MUST emulate games like sonic colors, Mario galaxy, and SSBB at their best for 1000$ Tongue and i do know that if a laptop overheats

that the emulation slows down, however i care only for the performance of the laptop when it isn't overheating . I know I need a good

graphics card , cpu, and gpu , but I have been shown so many laptops in such a wide variety that I don't know anymore. So try to talk

about a single laptop that you think is the best for 1000$ and argue your point if possible. Thank you for any responses and please tell me

your success with dolphin and these games or others, with your laptop or computer. Also, Including FPS would be AWESOME Big Grin

I am willing to get the laptop, however I must know, if i were to get this laptop would it emulate mario galaxy and sonic colors at a fairly good fps and would you say it is the best for dolphin in this price range, good enough so that the characters wouldn't move slowly across the screen and could you give me an estimate of the fps this laptop might produce while playing these games an example being 30-40, 40-50, or 50-60.

Sonic Color and SSBB are not demanding games . Last time I check , both games run full speed on my laptop
SMG is a demanding games , you can expect 50-60 FPS and slowdown will occur (maybe drop down to 30 FPS or so)

GE60 is known for its overheating issue ...(from Nvidia forum)
Either GE40 or GE70 will do
