Humm, I thaught all these games had emulation issues except for beeing slow on low end computers?

Quote:Humm, I thaught all these games had emulation issues except for beeing slow on low end computers? I don't understand what your trying to say here. I think you need to rephrase it. Metroid prime 1 and 2 are emulated almost perfectly but do run slow even on high end machines. Twilight princess is similar, has some emulation problems but is still quite playable, framerate dips in some places even on high end machines. Wind Waker runs at a high framerate with few emulation issues on my machine, except if I use SSAA it absolutely destroys the framerate. It's kind of weird how some games have a huge decrease in fps when SSAA is turned on yet others don't. Makes me want to see if the cpu has anything to do with this since SSAA SHOULD have nothing to do with cpu speed only gpu, but since I have a powerful gpu it seems like the only explanation. I don't know why or how but I think increasing SSAA in some games is actually putting more stress on the cpu, to bad the devs can't get MSAA working in D3D again. As for mario galaxy, I have no idea since I don't have it.

I guess we would have to start out testing at the very beginning of whatever game wins, or provide some game saves to other areas.

I'll be honest, if SMG wins I might just screw the results and pick another game, I still want to see how this plays out though. And please people, no more complaining about the game choices, I didn't choose them, you guys did when you listed your games and I tallied them up. SMG and wind waker are both up there because a lot of people have them, or at least a lot of people said they have them. Just do me a favor and let this play out, everything will be sorted out after that.
Edit: Anyone else think this is sticky worthy once it takes off?

Just wanted to let everyone know I have to delay the start of the benchmarking project another week due to rl issues. Look on the bright side at least you have more time to vote for those of you who haven't yet.

It's no problem because as you know, any one of us can start any number of benchmarking test with any game at any givin' time.
I may just start a thread named "BENCHMARKING DOLPHIN STARTING RIGHT NOW".
