I have this cheapie Bluetooth 1.0 adapter I got from Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00345RBF0/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

While it does work, the range is terrible. I have my PC in the room next to my theater. From where I sit to the PC (through a wall) is about 10 feet. If I stand near the wall it works great. If I sit back down (so I'm at 10' distance from the PC through the wall) it will work fine, then stutter for a while, then fine for a few minutes and the cycle continues. I will pay whatever to get a great Bluetooth adapter to make this work. I don't care if it's $30, name brand, whatever. I just want this thing to work!

Thanks so much for any suggestions on a better adapter!

Through a wall? Bluetooth is really weak, you could use a USB extension cable to give it line of sight. Or buy one with a real antenna.

I use a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and it works wonderfully. In fact, I tested this setup in my basement, 40 feet away and through 2 walls and while watching the screen and my brother moving the mouse it was perfect.
