beatles rockband wii controls help!

I'm having difficulties with setting up my keyboard to work with rockband. So far ive managed to play the game completely properly with the settings ive edited, though whenever im playing guitar (i usually play bass) i come with the issue that when they want me to play two notes at a time it wont work! i can play the Red note and blue note (controls A and S) if theyre across the same lane path on the keyboard, but if id liketo play two notes that arent in the same row it wont work! could someone help out with this!

The way I solved this is by setting the strum up controls to equal all the valid guitar notes you assigned. Combine them using the OR operator in the options for assigning buttons. So I have 0789+ for the notes, and it appears as 0 | 7 | 8 | 9 | + in the strum up controls. Then any time you press even one note, it strums it too. As well as any combination of notes.
