If I have the app (emulator) running in the foreground, it consumes WAY more battery when the phone is in standby mode, than if I sent it to the background and put the phone in standby mode. Is this the fault of the OS or the app? Something should be smart enough to know it's in standby mode so not to try and do any processing even if it's in the foreground. Isn't it possible to detect standby and put the emulator in pause mode? Thanks!
