Hi, could anyone tell me what the base latency of Dolphin is compared to the original hardware, not taking into account the monitor's latency? I'm thinking in the best case scenario without the CPU or GPU being a limiting factor?

Cheers.

Dolphin has less latency than console. Ask JMC47 for more details.

Only with certain XFB settings, though.

Wow - what about with normal settings, just 'straight out of the box' as it were?

You would get less latency than console in most games.

With XFB enabled + CRT monitor we're about even with console.

With XFB disabled + any decent low latency monitor (LCD/IPS/CRT) we're lower than console by some amount.
