Ah well, I bought this BT dongly thing, installed the software on the disc that came with it, and it worked a short while then demanded more cash. Now (yes, yes, I'm getting to my intro, I promise Cool ) - now, I'm a developer, been in IT more years than you'd care to know, and I know that there are many sharks in the IT sales world, but this "in app purchases" blackmail scheme really takes the cake for VERY unfair.. so, I'm Dennis, I'm in Australia, I'm tapping on an old Probook laptop, until today I'd never heard of Dolphin, but now I might.

So why did I go thru the whole hassle of registering? As Daco would say, this sure is jackass!

I did a google for my problem, and found a "necropost" of note (do not resuscitate old threads) that pointed me to the solution of why, once you have installed Bluesoleil once, no matter what you do, you won't get any other software to install for BT again.

So your old thread is https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-about-bluetooth-and-bluesoleil

and what I came here for is to say this didn't work for me BUT while I was in the right-click on Bluetooth Support Services/Properties/Log On tab, I noticed it had been changed from Local System Account to a "This Account" with a password. I took the password off by clicking the "Local System Account" radio button, and voila... the dongle works again...

So...mods, please move this info to somewhere it can do some good. I'm sorry Blush to give you more work, but I really must run. Big Grin

From my experience , Toshiba Stack > any BT driver (used to have Bluesoleil but once i tried Toshiba Stack...)
Ofcourse , if you use Toshiba Stack , you must uninstall the other and vise versa
