Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance two player

I'm trying to use two xbox 360 controllers to play two player in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance but the game isn't recognizing the second controller. Is there anything I can do in Dolphin that will make the game see it?

It won't detect the second controller even if the first player uses the keyboard and only one controller is connected.

Click the Config button and go to the GameCube tab. Make sure that both the 1st and 2nd port read "Standard Controller", like so:
